Morro Bay
Camped a couple of nights on a mountain called "Top of the World"; unreal view of the bay! Woke up each morning to the sunrise reflecting off of countless breaks on the beach. Incredible. I drove the full 5 miles to Morro Bay from Cayucos, it was brutal let me tell you. Significantly larger and more "blowed up" than Cayucos, I didn't end up staying very long. I checked out the Morro Rock and surfed the break there for a bit, the waves have gotten a little "worse" since my first couple days in town. Getting some last minute things done in town, restocking on water, and also getting the guys at Cayucos Collective to help me digitize a painting I've been working on for the past couple weeks! Quite excited about where the painting is destined, more on that when it actually comes to fruition though! I drove into Montaña de Oros and got a look at Hazards, it wasn't lighting up though so I settled for some meditative views rather than walking on reef. Caught a legendary sunset in Los Osos and then made the drive to Santa Barbara!
