Cayucos

Drove southwest from Yosemite and camped in a rest area for the night!  Got back to the 1 in a town called Cayucos and it looked cool enough so I stopped at the first beach access I found!  Posted up and made the usual breakfast: two pieces of toast, hummus, extra sharp cheddar, and two over-easy eggs with a side of oatmeal!  Cooking has become one of my favorite things to do out of the Land Cruiser! As the processes become more streamlined I gain a new enjoyment out of the living part of things.  Ah to expedite.  Met a couple of rad cats (Tyler and Justin) in Toyotas and we chatted for a bit before hopping in the water!  Quite cold, but the waves were unreal!  Methinks I will be sticking around for a couple of days.  Santa Barbara/Ventura is the next destination and I've got about of week before I need to be there!  Got a heads up from a couple guys in a print shop about going into San Luis Obispo (ridiculous amount of syllables for the name of a town) and checking out the Farmers Market - an event centered around its namesake but sporting some quality live music too!  Also saw a gum alley; playing with peoples leftovers as a dishwasher for a few years has desensitized me to issues of sanitation, but these walls still gave me the heebies.
